iPod Portable Speakers

An iPod portable speaker is a portable battery-operated speaker that is compatible with the iPod MP3-style device. The iBoom has aluminum speakers and requires 4 AAA batteries. There is also available a DC 6 volt adaptor. This style of speaker is a good choice for travelers and business people as this set will fold up very compact for easy transport and storage.

The choices of speakers for the iPod Nano Mp3 players are widely varied. An alternative selection of speakers can be found in the iTone docking system. This is a front mounting, battery operated or 120 volt AC adaptable method of using an iPod and one that offers the ability of charging the iPods during AC mode. This can be used as an alarm clock with the wake up features allowing the user to program the downloaded material to be the choice of alarm. These docking systems for the iPods will accept any style of iPod into the especially designed slot on the front of the machine. These systems sell for approximately $50.00 to $100.00 USD. A waterproof option is available, which is called iSplash. This is a rugged speaker set for use where waterproof equipment is needed.
